We would like to inform you about the necessary updates of the core routers in our data centers in Düsseldorf. The work will take place on:
Tuesday, 17.08.2021 from 00:01am to 05:00am (CEST)
The traffic will be moved to redundant systems and connections respectively. Thus, we keep the impact on your systems and services as low as possible. We expect that there will nevertheless be short packetlosses when re-routing traffic due to the setup and teardown of routing connections as well as the swing of the VRRP.
The duration is in the low seconds range. Unredundantly connected customer setups will be offline during the update process of the corresponding router, we expect a duration of less than 60 minutes here, unfortunately we cannot predict an exact time.

Der Traffic wird auf jeweils redundante Systeme und Verbindungen umgezogen. Somit halten wir die Auswirkungen auf Ihre Systeme und Services so gering wie möglich. Wir gehen davon aus, dass es dennoch zu kurzen Packetloss beim Umrouten des Traffic durch den Auf- und Abbau von Routingverbindungen sowie beim Schwenk des VRRP kommen wird.
Die Dauer bewegt sich in einem niedrigen Sekundenbereich. Unredundant angeschlossene Kundensetups sind während des Updatevorgangs des zugehörigen Routers offline, wir rechnen hier mit einer Dauer von unter 60 Minuten, einen genauen Zeitpunkt können wir leider nicht vorhersagen.
