Planned EAA Upgrade (22.03) - May 13, 01:00 and 09:00 UTC Priority: High Source: Maintenance
The Enterprise Application Access (EAA) service will be upgraded Saturday, May 13, 2022, between the hours of 1 AM and 9 AM UTC. The EAA administrator portal will be unavailable during the upgrade. Akamai will be upgrading connectors as part of this release for those customers who were not previously notified. The service will remain operational during the maintenance window, but users may experience minor disruptions when accessing applications. These disruptions, if encountered, will last less than 15 minutes.
This upgrade includes the following EAA service fixes/improvements:
iPadOS Device Posture Support - iPadOS has been separated out into a separate category from iOS within device posture providing more granular operating system checking for those organizations who might permit different iOS and iPadOS versions.
Domain-Joined Windows Machine - Whether a Windows endpoint machine is joined to a specified domain can be included in device posture tiers and tags
TCP and Tunnel Client-Access Applications Idle Timeout - Administrators can match the idle time of their application to EAA. This prevents EAA from closing a connection earlier than the application would have otherwise closed down the endpoint connection.
Important: End-users might see a browser window come up indicating a 562 Credential Error. Impacted end-users seeing this message will be directed to re-authenticate. The impact is limited to customers who have applications that require NTLM authentication and will be further limited because the connector upgrades are on the weekend.
