Scheduled
Dear customers,

We would like to inform you about the necessary updates to the core routers at our locations in Frankfurt, Hamburg and Cologne.
Updates to core routers are essential to ensure the security, performance, functionality and reliability of the network. They protect against threats, improve efficiency and ensure that the network keeps pace with the latest technological developments.

Date: Tuesday, September 3 up to and including Thursday, September 5, 2024
Time: in each case between 00:00 and 06:00 (CEST)
Reference:NET-2699
Effects: The traffic is moved to redundant systems and connections. In this way, we keep the impact on your systems and services as low as possible. We assume that there will nevertheless be short packet loss when rerouting the traffic due to the establishment and termination of routing connections and when the VRRP is swung.

The duration will be in the low second range. Non-redundantly connected customer setups will be offline during the update process of the associated router, we expect this to take less than 120 minutes, unfortunately we cannot predict an exact time.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will be happy to answer any further questions via the usual channels.

Thank you in advance for your understanding.
