Description: During this maintenance window, the Akamai Network Engineering team will be performing maintenance to improve network stability. To minimize the possibility of impact, Akamai Network Engineers will be pulling anycast/suppressing BGP announcements in LON. During the maintenance customers may see tunnel flaps; however, these alerts can be safely ignored, as the corresponding BGP session will be down. Customers will also see a re-convergence of traffic to the nearest relevant scrubbing centers. At the end of the maintenance window, we will announce anycast in the LON once again and traffic routing will return to normal. Mitigation and monitoring capabilities will not be impacted.
